Here is the newest animatic, with voice actor Zachariah Durr starring as the cat and myself as the girl.
The mother's voice (appears in the beginning in the form of a phone conversation) has not been recorded yet.... this is the dialogue exchange:
Mom: You’re not happy.
Girl: No...
Mom: I want my girl back.
Girl: Me too, I’m not sure why I feel like this.
Mom: … I hate to say it, but i told you this would happen. every time you run away to a new place you end up unhappy again. and here you are...
Girl: [Ugh, That’s not it at all.] <- (i think you could take this line out) Mom, my soup’s getting cold. I’m gonna go.
Mom: Oh -- I - love you sweetheart, bye.
Girl: (curt) Bye.
